I have been using Gsite for years but this is the first I've had any
problems. When Generating and uploading, a few weeks ago I started
getting this message"

"I tried to notify Yahoo with the following command:
http://api.search.yahoo.com/SiteExplorerService/V1?UpdateNotification?appid=gsitecrawler&url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww%2EKilroyWasHere%2E0rg%2Furllist%2Etxt%2Egz
Yahoo responded with this error: HTTP-Error 404 Not Found (-1404)

Please check the status manually through your Yahoo! Site Explorer
account."

Gsite then forwards to Yahoo account where I have reset their
statement in meta tags and placed a small file in the root directory
to no avail. But it says on Yahoo! that it checks OK.

Google is still working fine.

Thanx

Yes, unfortunately Yahoo broke the first commandment of the web: when
moving a page to a new url provide 301 redirection from the old url to
the new one LOL

The creators of the GSIteCrawler program havw been advised and
hopefully some day soon a fix may be available. But I cannot say when
that may happen.

Hi Yahoo doesn’t accept sitemap submissions, you need to use BING.

No.

There's no development at this time on GSC.

You will have to submit manually to Yahoo or Bing or whatever.
