Dear GSICS colleagues,

Many of you are involved in the creation of Fundamental and/or Essential Climate Variables data records. In this regard, session CL5.2 (Climate Data Homogenization and Analysis of Climate Variability, Trends and Extremes) of EGU´s General Assembly 2024 (EGU24) may be of particular interest to you.

Therefore, we would like to encourage you to submit abstracts of their research to EGU24 session CL5.2 (CO Meeting Organizer EGU24 (copernicus.org))”. EGU24 will be held in Vienna, Austria from 14–19 April 2024.  Abstract submissions will be accepted until 10 January 2024 at 13:00 CET (EGU24 - Call-for-abstracts).

Please note, the session is a so called Pico session, i.e., oral  introduction of 5 minutes per presenter and one hour for person-to-person discussion, where each presenter has access  to a digital screen for presenting results in more detail.

We hope to have drawn your attention for our EGU session, and see you next year at EGU24.

Kind regards,

Convener: Lorenzo Minola (Univ. Gothenburg), and co-convenors: Cesar Azorin-Molina (Univ. Valencia),  Xiaolan L. Wang (Env. Canada), Rob Roebeling (EUMETSAT), and Corrado Motta (Arcadia SIT)
