Announcement of GSICS Annual Meeting 2024

Dear GSICS colleagues,

 

We are pleased to announce the GSICS Annual Meeting 2024 will be held at EUMETSAT in Darmstadt (Germany), from 11 to 15 of March 2024. 

 

You are welcome to participate – in person, or online. Please register on

The meeting will have the following sessions.


  1. Mini-Conference featuring calibration-related topics on recent and upcoming missions (Contact: mounir.lekouara (AT) eumetsat.int )


  2. Plenary on the Agency Reports ( Contact:  
fangfang.yu ( AT) noaa.gov  )


  3. GSICS Research Working Group breakout sessions and contact points:

   4. GSICS Data Working Group breakout session: Kamaljit Ray (Contact: kamal.ray (AT) imd.gov.in)


   5. Cross-cutting: A session on Interdisciplinary topics (Contact:  Lawrence.e.flynn ( AT) noaa.gov)


Please indicate to the GRWG Chair ( Fangfang Yu (
fangfang.yu ( AT) noaa.gov ) ), GDWG Chair ( Kamaljit Ray (kamal.ray ( AT) imd.gov.in )), or the breakout sessions contact points if you wish to make a presentation.

 

Attendees are also encouraged to bring along supporting posters on related topics (e.g. those prepared for other meetings).
