Is it possible gene set enrichment analysis?

Hi everyone
I have only gene symbols and gene names. Is it possible gene set enrichment analysis? If it is possible how can it perform.

Hi Hari,

Unfortunately no, the GSEA method, like all true enrichment tests, requires expression data not just gene lists. The best you can do with a simple gene list is an overlap statistic test like what you can do through the MSigDB web tools, or other 3rd party tools.
