Hello,
I'm using GSEA v4.4.0 on Windows. I tried to load my annotation file in GSEA but there is an error message:

Hi Thomas,

Our apologies for the spam email that slipped through our filters over the weekend.
To answer your question, this error occurs because the formatting of your file doesn't match the expected structure of the file type you've provided to the GSEA software.
Based on the message text, the file you used was a ".txt" file. GSEA's specific formatting requirements for .txt files are fairly rigid. They're detailed here in our user guide: https://docs.gsea-msigdb.org/#GSEA/Data_Formats/#txt-text-file-format-for-expression-dataset-txt
If, after checking your file against the documentation there, you're still encountering errors, please let us know and we'd be happy to take a look.
