STUDENT CORPUS FUND DRIVE:

Hello,
A quick follow up with you as you are already aware of this important project undertaken by GOSUMEC Foundation.

We had recent zoom meetings with the Dean Dr. Sangeeta Ravat, the GOSUMEC Foundation team including Sanjay Bindra, the President and organizer of the website initiative.

We have learnt that a committee of 3 GS Alumni - Dr Lopa Mehta, Dr Ravi Ramakantan & Dr. D Shenvi has interviewed 17 candidates and indeed the need is compelling! Some are already admitted in 1 st MBBS through their excellent academic achievements but without funds to pay for further fees, books or even stay or 3 square meals!

Please take a few minutes to view Dr. Ravi Ramakantan's poignant interviewing journey, when he spoke to these students or Bacchu's like he calls them.

We would like to appeal to click the donation link https://givebutter.com/gosumec and proceed with contributing for this worthwhile cause allowing us to build a sustaining corpus for years to come. There are many details about how these funds will be used, monitored and accountability established on the website https://gosumec.org/projects-2.

As the year end is approaching such arrangements- tax deductible - can be made in good time - many of us receiving RMD have done it through the same quite “simply, easily and directly” as Amitabh Bachhan says in KBC!!

Please feel free to contact any of us including Sanjay for further queries.

We would live to see all needy, deserving and bright Medical students supported by a corpus fund for years to come and ultimately develop into fine Physicians that all of us had the opportunity to become through our Alma Mater.

Go GSMC, The Best , Proud to be a GOSUMEC & part of being a Humanitarian above all.
