This is about Subramaniam swamy, an academician, former diplomat, a politician... now in the BJ P, a pain in the neck of the congress party and specially to the Gandhi family, a very intelligent and absolutely interesting personality .

There are many facts I didn’t know about him. They make interesting reading.

Get to know him .... at least through a write up such as this.

Some interesting facts about Subramanian Swamy :

Completed PhD at the age of 24 & started teaching at Harvard.

In one of the articles in Mumbai Daily, he wrote : "Muslims don't believe in voting rights or democracy."

This created a stir & he was expelled from Harvard.

He started teaching in Delhi IIT. There he wrote," india should not follow Nehru's Soviet model but should give power to private enterprises."

Indira Gandhi was the Prime Minister. Next day, he was fired from Delhi IIT.

He sued Delhi IIT & fought for 18 years & won the case.

Then he joined Delhi IIT & within an hour resigned his job. Just to tell the management not to mess with him.

Though he did not graduate in Law, he fought himself in the court just by reading law books.

At Harvard, an American fellow girl student Roxana challenged him whether he can learn read, write, speak toughest Chinese language.

He accepted the challenge & damn, he gained  mastery in that language.

Later, Roxana married him.

He was sent as Ambassador to China several times.

It was due to his effort that Chinese authorities opened up Kailash Mansarovar for Indian pilgrims.

Ram Jethmalani, one of India's top lawyers filed 4 criminal defamation cases against Subramanian Swamy & lost all the 4.

Later, Ram Jethmalani said to Subramanian Swamy : " let's be friends."

Through his contacts at Harvard, he exposed Rahul Gandhi about his false Harvard degree.

He proved to then President Dr. Abdul Kalam that Sonia Gandhi had not given up citizenship of Italy and she cannot become PM of India.

The President revoked her candidature for ever.

A genius par excellence!

He is an *Enigmatic Genius - a MAVERICK in the real sense of the word !*

As on date, he is over 80 yrs old ( Sep 1939 born) , but can easily pass off for much less, and  is amazingly crystal clear in his thought process, as well as expressions, *esp the verbal diction*!

He still appears on various TV channels almost 2-3 times a week, and presents his bold and forthright views, *including criticizing his OWN party BJP, brazenly &  unabashedly  - wherever/whenever warranted  !*

He is BSc in Maths from Hindu College, Delhi, MSc in Statistics from ISI, Kolkata, and PhD in Economics from Harward Univ, and fluent in Mandarin, by choice - besides having held a number of UNBELIEVABLY Prestigious and Important posts in the UN, Ambassador to China (multiple times) , and in India, and as well as a professor in Economics in Harward as well as IIT, Delhi.

The list is endless.

He is a Tamilian by origin, and married to a Parsi lady ( Roxana Kapadia), two daughters, both married into highly illustrious families, including one in Muslim family - that shows how LIBERAL and Broad-minded he is, though belonging to BJP.

*He is EXTREMELY Intelligent, and still very sharp, and always a pleasure to watch his discourses on the TV*.

*Wish we had more of his calibre - there are none as on date to match him*.
