I read a book about GSCA, how to find p-value, the book said to use Excel with formula: "=T.DIST.RT".
My question is: can we use the method as an alternative to decide a hypothesis is significant or not?
As we know, to look for a hypotesis signicant or not is look at the CI range if there's zero so it's not significant.
In my case, I got values: Estimate: 0.175; SE: 0.094; 95%CI: -0.014 - 0.323, if we used GSCA method it will be not significant. But, I compare with Smart PLS the result is Significant (p-value: 0.045). Than, I tried to use the Excell formula and the p-value is 0.032 (significant).
Can we used the Excell method, meanwhile it will get different hyphotesis by using "does not contain zero method"
Thank you for your explanation
