Garden State cultural Association of NJ is proudly celebrating its 25th Sarodiya Durga Puja in New Jersey, USA this year. Since its inception in early nineties, under GSCA’s umbrella, NRIs in the tri state area are doing remarkable job towards nurturing and promoting Indian, especially Bengali culture and heritage. This is reflected in the theme of GSCA’s Silver Jubilee celebration of Durgatsav 2016; whether its decoration, or the idols, chanting of Vedic slokas, or even typical Bengali food followed by evening cultural programs, the entire ambience of this two day events is marked by celebrating Durga Puja in most traditional “sabeki’ way .
If you are residents of NJ/NY/PA area, you cannot simply miss GSCA’s 2016 Sarodiya Durgatsav on the weekend of October 1st and 2nd 2016. Apart from being able to offer Devi puja with full rituals and customs and sumptuous authentic Bengali food, GSCA is delighted to present some of the best talents of Indian and Indo American cultural horizon.
