Dear Graduate Students:
Do you want to see change at Boston University? Are you unsure how you as a graduate or professional student are able to make that change happen? Join us for the inaugural meeting of the Graduate and Professional Leadership Council (GPLC) at 5:30 pm on Tuesday, March 18. The purpose of the GPLC is to provide graduate and professional students with a forum to discuss concerns and advocate policy change with administrators at Boston University. This organization will work closely with Tim Barbari, the Associate Provost for Graduate Affairs, to communicate student concerns to the University.
At this inaugural meeting, we will introduce the goals and structure of the GPLC and discuss the process for selecting representatives from each of the colleges and schools at BU that house graduate and professional students. Associate Provost Tim Barbari will also join us to introduce himself. If you would like to be a student leader and serve as a voice for your peers, be sure to attend.
Date and Time: 5:30-6:30pm, Tuesday, March 18
Location: CAS 522 (meetings will alternate between Charles River Campus and the Medical Campus)
RSVP: please respond to our RSVP or email us at gp...@bu.edu. Refreshments will be served.
