Hey everyone,

I wanted to send a warm welcome and a massive congratulations to all of you for being elected as the next generation of the GSC!

Even more importantly, I want to say thank you for your commitment to this school and to your classmates. The job you have taken on is very important, and a fantastic time. But you might also find yourself behind the scenes doing unsung work. I really appreciate all of you stepping up to the plate to carry on this tradition for the next year.

TOMORROW, Wednesday, April 2nd, at 4:00 PM in SMG 406 will be the first meeting with the full staff of old and new council. Please attend. There will be pizza :)

The goal tomorrow will be to address a few outstanding items, then focus the remainder of the time on Q&A and beginning the transition process. New reps should meet with their outgoing counterparts and work to understand what needs to be completed this spring, and what will be carried through the summer and into the fall.

Here is the meeting transition schedule going forward:

Wed, Apr 2, 4:00 PM: Old & New Council - Old Council leads and votes
Wed, Apr 9, 4:00 PM: Old & New Council - New Council leads and votes
Wed, Apr 16, 4:00 PM: Old & New Council - New Council leads and votes
Wed, Apr 23, 4:00 PM: New Council only (old council sits in as needed)
Wed, Apr 30, 4:00 PM: New Council only

Looking forward to seeing you all tomorrow!
P

Hey Guys-

There was a lot of agreement that May 4th would be the best day to do a shindig involving a Sox game...they will be playing the Oakland As at 135 in the afternoon.

Before we settle any other details, we need to get a count for tickets..please check yes on this Doodle if you want to go to the game!  If you can do so by lunch on Thursday, that would be hugely helpful...thanks!

We are on for May 4th! We have tickets for the SRO right field roof deck, with access to the Budweiser Roof bar (as well as normal concessions).

I'll update again with logistical details when we get closer to game day!
