Hi everyone,

Thanks a lot for all the work you did to make the council restructuring a success.

It looks like the changes are going to pass, so we're looking ahead to advertising the upcoming election to first years and part-timers.

Please take a look at this document, which contains a plain-English job description/rallying call for each open role. Please review the role you currently hold, and add in anything that is missing.

If you can, please try and do this by EOD today.

Thanks!
P

Personally, I'd recommend moving elections responsibility to the former VP of governance role makes more sense.  Seems like more of an internal operational function rather than "glue" "networking" external-focused function of the new student & alumni role.  That's my two cents (although I realize these specific tasks are probably written into the constitution).

Maybe this doesn't have to go with the role descriptions necessarily but having something like qualifications or questions for candidate to consider might be helpful e.g. here are questions I wish I'd asked myself last year for alum relations

* do you enjoy raising funds?
* what specific ideas do you have for improving alum relations?
* how will you work with the administration?
