Dear Amchigeli,

I am posting this message on behalf of and with the permission from Smt Jayasree Kini.

On 6th May 2008 my brother's brother-in-law (my brother's wife's brother), Sri Pratap Kini suddenly died by heatstroke in Kumta (NK). Three years back Pratap Kini's elder brother Sri Rajendra Kini died by heart attack. Late Sri Pratap Kini leaves behind his wife (Smt Jayashree) and one daughter (Kum Kshama). Late Sri Rajendra Kini leaves behind his wife (Smt Chandrakala), one son (Chi Ishan) and one daughter (Kum Neha). They had one very small hotel (tea stall) at the outskirt of one GSB temple in Kumta. They were operating this hotel since over fifty years - since last generation. The hotel belongs to temple and they were only operating it. Within three years both bread earners of Kini family passed away leaving behind three teenage children and two widows in distressed condition.

Late Sri Pratap Kini's wife Smt Jayashree (Daughter of Late Sri Anant Bhat of Sri Ananteshwar temple of Manjeshwar) is from one of Manjeshwar Bhat  family from Manjeshwar - Kerala. Daughter of Late Sri Pratap and Jayashree, Kum. Kshama is very talented and missed her rank in SSLC Karnataka State merit list only by three marks. She earned 95.20%

Kumari Kshama is studying in 12 std., Kumari Neha is studying BBA (Bachelor of Business administration) and scored 67% in first year and Chi. Ishan Kini is studying Diploma in Computer Science and scored 70% in first year. All are studying in Dr Baliga College - Kumta. They don't have bread earner in their family and no ancestral property except old house. Probably temple management my lease very small tea stall to someone else.

My brother Sri Rajgopal Mallya (Mahale) vowed to help this family in their distressed condition. We, blood relatives will help our best, but we have our limitations. Widows from Kini family will be greatly thankful if anybody could send small donation for the future education of three children. I appeal group members to send small donations if possible.

Further I request group members to post details of GSB Samaj where these children can get some financial help for their education.

For any further enquiry you can contact Mr Rajgopal & Seema Mallya (Mahale) on telephone (0251) 2326891 (Kalyan- near Mumbai).

I request members not to post any derogatory or humiliating reply. We (I am and my brother) personally experienced consequences when bread earner passes away in poor or below middle class family.

Once again I appeal GSB Bandhav to extend small help if possible. Pls forward this mail to ONLY GSB friends if you can.
