WOKAI: Still looking for a gift?

Each year our non-profit – Wokai – hosts a holiday gift card campaign. This year I am working with 200 fellow volunteers around the world to lift 50 people out of poverty, raising $50,000 on our website. To make that goal a reality, I need your help. All of the proceeds go directly to the borrower, enabling him/her to start a small businesses and begin the path toward financial independence. Since our website launch in November 2008, Wokai has raised over US$475,000 in loan capital, attracted 7,300 users, and empowered 500 borrowers.
