We did it team! Great job all on the presentation, while our project did not get selected for the Metro APA studio... we DID get accepted for the Planner's Network Conference!

The conference topic is "Promoting Economic Development through Regional Cooperation and Planning" and is happening in Memphis, TN on May 18-21. So the question is who else would like to travel to Memphis and attend?

There are some cost details but I hope we can tap into university funds for reimbursal. It's $235 for the conference registration/food alone. They have registration/food + lodging options at their residence halls for $335-385. Alternately we could look into finding our own lodging options but i don't know it would be less and it's supposedly quite busy around now. The first thing though is to figure out who can/wants to go.

Secondly, who is interested in going to Baltimore on May 6 for the Johns Hopkins Program in Latin American Studies Conference, "Commodifiction and Development in Latin America: Limits and Possibilities"? Megan and I were going to present on this panel, the paper is due this Monday, April 25. I'm going to work on the paper tomorrow if anyone would like to throw in their two cents.

Thanks,
Jeff
