just to clarify, in our discussion of the national housing, i said that the national housing program no longer exists... that is WRONG. it was created in 2004 and is a body that oversees projects, not directly implementing them. so please erase from your brain what i said before. SORRY. my to come when i finish my national housing bit.......

Hi Jorge, good to hear from you and thanks for sharing. That definitely wasn't the scandal we were expecting. And maybe even commentary on rational planning ... you just don't know what you don't know sometimes.

Very sad to see, especially in the wake of everything that unfolded with the big Odebrecht Transmilenio scandal and now the push for the new elected President. etc.

Yes, who knew we were living the start of the largest corruption scandal in LatAm history from so close....
On better news, remember that girl I met during the Rio study? We got married two years ago and our first child was born two weeks ago. Is any of you still living in NYC? I am going there towards the end of November.

Somehow missed this thread in the lead up to Christmas... crazy news re: COMPERJ

How is everyone doing? Massive congrats on the marriage and little one Jorge - that's definitely a huge positive to come out of all of this!!

Sadly in London these days, but please get in touch if any of you head across the pond, would be lovely to see you all. I'm also in NYC every now and then, so will reach out next trip :)

Hi all: I am in Los Angeles now, because this place has serious planning issues and needs all the help it can get. Ha! I am occasionally in NYC and would love to see you all, so next time I'm there I'll reach out. Conversely, if any of you ever visit LA, let me know. I am a decent tour guide, and it would be great to catch up. 

I also have a little one now. He is a ball of chaos and magic.
