The fist doc is getting messy. so i created a new document where we can put the actual context.  We will then have one document that serves ONLY as the outline of our paper.  This will serve as a reference (so we know the order of things).  The second doc (ie this one) will be where we dump all our material.

I don't understand how simply excluding the outline is making this any easier, but okay.

I will re-paste my sections into the new Final document.

yeah josie and i were talking via gchat about the doc and i thought it might help...but i am looking at it and your right heather. 

also does anyone know how to paste from the word doc into google docs without changing the original format?

Hey dudes! I wrote my parts in a potential format for recommendations. Check it out to see what you think.

Its basically the title of the recommendation followed by the issues that the recommendation is responding to, followed by the description. I like it because it is explicit (and we've learned that that is an important tool of communication for this project), and it front-ends our objectives for the recommendation.
