exploding dashed lines into individual lines

Hey all, 

Spoke to a student I met in the output shop. He recommended we convert the dashed lines into individual dashes. In illustrator, this is called the expand command. In AutoCAD, follow the instructions in the link below:

Confirmed! It works if you follow the process outlined in the link i posted. Its a little fussy so it takes some playing with, but it seems to be easier than making them separate lines in illustrator.
