Would Like to share one more
Thing with you that yesterday I received call from Napalese consulate saying that some 200
Napalese are coming back from
Sendai (this city airport is under water and it's shown in many vedeo clips and also 8.9 magnitude earthquake ),they requested us to make arrangement for their stay overnight because they had left Sendai in the night at 9.30 pm.
As we have in new iskcon temple a new vedic culture hall
we immediately took a decision to take responsibility for 50
Napalese. They also asked us if we can prepare food for them .my wife supported me for this and she started preparing vegetable with rice and also mix vegetable curry for them.
They told they will arrive at Tokyo around 2 pm so we immediately got blankets ,
Water bottles , paper glass and plastic spoons from our house and also calling our neighbors to provide more blankets .
We received a call at 1 pm that there is snow fall so they will reach between 4 pm to 5 pm. So we slept for 1.5hour and got up at 3am and left at 3.45 am to okachmachi station where I told them to wait where we had changed plan to put 15 of them at our friend mr MANOJ singhs house ground floor so that we can give them
Proper treatment . Their bus arrived at 5am and they Also had rescue team of 4 Nepali citizens . According to them as they were in a state of shock they prefered to stay
Together and it would be easy to manage things. So we decided to take them to iskcon temple . And we reached there at 6.30 am and
As soon as they got setteled
With there luggage we served
Them food and water . According to them last six days
They had no bath no proper food. What ever they got in vending machines they ate very
Little food for past six days .
As My wife Purnima shah and her freind mrs babeeta are teacher sof art
Of living they made them do some meditations and pranayam to releive them
Of their trauma.
After doing that they really felt
Very nice and almost all started
Smiling.
We arranged their lunch and dinner for today which was sponserd by diamond community. and ambasador of Nepal called me personally thanking iskcon japan for taking
Promt action and co-operation
He said he is really proud of Indian community in Tokyo .all other staff of embassy also called many times for to express their gratitude.iskcon japan devotees are going to make food for them tommorow.
As on today as I am in Tokyo .
We are very safe from the radiations . But our only worry is that there is shortage of petrol there is long queue at petrol pumps and also there is shortage of foodbecause of petrol supply.now we are really panic as we don't know what is actual situation at
Fukushima. As japan being our
Karma bhumi we wish everything goes alright as fast as possible .
