Adieu or is it true?

Its been four fine years of journey in Japan. Cricket at Komazawa to Dandias and Diwalis. Shaimay's operation to Aangee's birth.  Getting involved in Gujarati Samaj to IIT alumnus. Learning invaluable lessons during interactions. All the while journey has been of great joy learning and satisfaction. Feel  very lucky to have been blessed in such a good environment both professionally and personally.  

 

So with this little background and with heavy heart and high hopes i am sharing that we are moving to Delhi soon. Since the change was sudden could not meet personally to convey in details. We have decided to give kids little easier way to get used to. So Shaimay will go back alone next week and join school in Ahmedabad. We will follow him and make both the kids settled in Ahmedabad. Me and Shailee will come back to Tokyo in Late-Jan-09 and Stay for a month to conclude hikkoshi etc. before finally moving back to Delhi in late Feb- Early March.

 

While the change was inevitable as it was part of life. Shaimay always jokes that we are Olympic year family. Since he was born (in 2000), there is always a change every four years. In 2000 I shifted from Japan to India, to come back to Tokyo in 2004. again after Beijing Olympics this year we are headed back to India. So who knows what holds in 2012. Only time can tell.

 

One thing is sure it is only going to bring us more closer to Japan and yearning will only increase. So it will not be right to say we are leaving Japan. But appropriate to say that we are taking Japan (and all the memories) with us..
