Sandbox resolver down

Hi everyone,

This is embarrassing but the sandbox resolver (resolver-dv1.gs1.org) is not functioning at the moment. This is due to a misalignment in update cycles for some of the components so Nick is busy swapping out one document database with another. This is expected to be completed well within the next 24 hours. This is not expected to cause any loss of anyone's data.

The production service (id.gs1.org) is wholly unaffected and continues to perform without any problem. 

This is the right way round - we make promises for the performance and uptime of the production service, but no such promises about the sandbox :-)

Sandbox is sandbox, so no SLA to expect indeed.
Only that it was a little embarrassing that exactly during a big internal presentation about Digital Link's role in the Digital Product Passport, the demo failed.😜😆

Hi all,

Just to let you know that Nick has fixed the issue and the dv1 resolver is back on line and fully functional.

Apologies again - we had a *lot* of people screaming at us yesterday which shows that the sandbox resolver is being used for a variety of demos. This is very encouraging. Let's hope the demos lead to uses of the production-grade service at id.gs1.org which, of course, comes with an SLA.
