Code Lock!

Hi all,

Just to let you know that Nick and what is now a development team have reached a milestone in the development of the GS1 Global Office Resolver today - code lock!

The resolver in question is the developers' resolver at resolver-dv1.gs1.org which UNLESS YOU KNOW OTHERWISE is now ready to be cloned and become the production service at id.gs1.org. This is scheduled for 1 July (3 weeks today).

Is it perfect? Nope.

Is it 100% conformant to the GS1 Digital Link standard? Nope (almost but not quite)

But any tests you may have to hand that you want to run, please do so and let us know of any show-stopper problems.

We'll be wiping the id.gs1.org database soon so that, from 1 July, links found there will be brand-authorised and not, as is the case now, 'any old junk' any of us might have put in there.
