Dear GS1 Digital Link Developers and triallists.

The new GS1 Resolver on the final test and you are welcome to take a look before it is switched live.
Currently, it is residing at https://id.lansley.com

https://id.lansley.com/ui for data entry, and

We have replaced the data entry UI web pages with a file upload/download service.

To use it, see if you can download your data:
  1. Goto https://id.lansley.com/ui
  2. Select "Download your data from GS1 Resolver"
  3. On the download page, type the email address you normally use to log into the old Resolevr data entry web app into the Authorisation Key text box
  4. Click Download. It will take a few seconds for your file to download.
  5. Save the file to your computer.
This file can be edited then used to upload your data back into Resolver using the Upload page, or you can use a different CSV file with fewer columns.

I'll produce some more documentation on what each column in the download file means and how to upload it in the coming days.

The other task to try is to see if your data is working: Just replace https://id.gs1.org with https://id.lansley.com and give it a try. For example:

Phil Archer and I are continuing to test the service and we'll move it https://id.gs1.org  and https://data.gs1.org/ui hopefully as early as Tuesday 7th March; perhaps a day or so later if we or you find any issues that need to be fixed.

This is a complete rewrite of Resolver for performance and scale, so there may be the odd anomaly to fix. That's why we are all triallists!

Best regards
