Dear fellow GS1 Digital Link developers

Just to let you know that the production GS1 Resolver at id.gs1.org will be upgraded on Friday 18th December, as will the codebase for the Community Edition.

This update incorporates all the improvements applied to our triallists' service over the past month.

This update includes the new 'linkset' JSON format if you use linktype=all with HTTP header "Accept: application/json". This format is the JSON version of the link: header. It is a simple, easy to understand format with the same properties that are found in the Link: header.

The other improvements are 'under the hood' performance and security enhancements.

As ever, GS1's IT Infrastructure team will be applying their excellent 'zero downtime' objective so the service won't be off-air for even a second while the update is applied!
