Hi Singh,
Thanks again for the incredible feedback! I'm moving our conversation
back to the public group thread so other testers can follow along as
we improve the app. I am still new to this Group thing and initially

Regarding the zoom and orbit issues you mentioned. I think it has to
do with the large offset of the pivot point of that specific spalt. In
many 3D Gaussian Splats, the coordinate "pivot point" (or origin) is
offset from the main object itself. Because the viewer camera orbits
around that coordinate center (0,0,0), trying to rotate can send the
model flying off-screen, and it limits how close you can zoom in
before hitting a camera boundary.
I'm currently using SuperSplat to re-center the pivot point directly
onto the castle model (bringing its 3D center to the 0,0,0 origin) and
will export a fresh .sog file for you to test shortly!
For a long-term fix, I am also looking into coding a "First-Frame
Auto-Focus" feature for a future build of the app. This will
programmatically calculate the dense bounding box center when a file
loads and automatically aim the camera there, even if the model's
pivot point is offset.
Thanks again for helping me catch this right out of the gate!
