Chrome - Refused to set unsafe header "Host"

Chrome wont set the Host header value whereas Firefox does and my code currently works on FF, I am trying to implement a direct from browser to Google Cloud Storage resumable upload. But Chrome's warns that it will not tamper with the Host header variable. I suggest that Google fix this by providing an alias to the Host and Data variables.
