Scenario: I place some files on Google web storage.

And I want only paid users can download this file. So my question is, how to hide this file from paid user to prevent them from sharing this URL with other unpaid users.

So, is there a way to hide the real file location? Single-use or time-restricted URLs or any other?

You can use our newly launched "Signed URLs" to create time limited URLs that you could hand out to an authorized user. Details here: https://developers.google.com/storage/docs/accesscontrol#Signed-URLs

Does using feature require the user to first login to their google account?

No, it doesn't. An authorized user creates the signed URL and then anyone with the URL can read the data during the time it's valid. If you want to used logged-in Google user authentication, you should use our Cookie authentication feature.

Thanks,
