Deleting Current Vin

Hi Everyone - i have sold my 800GS and selling my GS911 to a different person. Is it possible to erase my VIN details off the Enthusiast model I have so the new owner has a clean slate to start with - Thanks Linz

No, sorry, you cannot do that.  That would not monetarily benefit HexCode.  They have a product to sell, and that would put their sales in jeopardy as the 911 could be sold repeatedly, thus depriving them of a return on their investment.  Not what you wanted to hear, I know.

Hi

I had the same issue with 4 bikes registered on my 911. When I sold it I made it clear that there was only room for another 6 bikes (max 10). My selling price was adjusted accordingly

You could up grade to pro and have unlimited VIN numbers on the unit.

Thanks for all responses - I've sold the unit and the new owner is aware of the vin already on it

He may make a decision to upgrade the unit himself
