Renew the tank sensor heating element.
This is broken.

Remove fuel gauge plug on left side of tank. Clean, if possible blow plug and socket with air.
If problem persists check wires for continuity.
If problem persists check wires for continuity.

Agreed - I had same issue on my GSA which turned out to be water in the fuel gauge plug.

Usual fuel strip failure. I'm getting my 6th one tomorrow (under warranty,
the replaced part comes with a 2 year parts/labor warranty.)
