gs 911 lost usb interface after adaptation reset

Looking for some help

After balancing the throttle bodies I attempted to reset the adaption values.

the values appeared to have been reset but then I lost all communication via the usb port to the GS-911.

Now the laptop does not see the GS-911 plugged into the usb port and I keep getting the same result "test failed could not open usb device"

I have the old legacy YELLOW USB / BLUE TOOTH device.

On a side note I downloaded an old version of the GS 911 mobile phone app version 1.31 which uses blue tooth to connect. This works but there is limited functionality i.e. cant reset service warning etc
