The new beta version adds Service functionality to the Engine
Controllers of the MA2.4 group. These include all R1150, the R1100S and
all non-CAN K1200 models.

The one thing that is excluded, is TPS alignment for models that have
Idle Regulators (R1200C, R1200CL and all K1200 models) - this
functionality will be added in a follow-up beta in January 2010!

For detail on the functionality, see the MA2.4 page:
http://www.hexcode.co.za/products/gs-911/ma24

The beta can be downloaded from the Beta page

Hello Stephan.

I was looking at the function chart,
I dont see the bleed test on the R1200GS, or mentioning as future.

Any particular reason.

I have a R12000GSA 2006, and because of servo etc, I really think will be a
great safety thing if we can test that.

Thanks

Mario

hi Mario,

the only ABS that has the full service functionality implemented yet, is
the ABSN (all F650 and C1). We first develop all service functionality
for the Engine Controllers - we already have completed the BMSC (all
F650 1 spark and C1) and BMSC2 (all F650 2 spark and G650) and just
yesterday released the MA2.4 (all R1150 and non-CAN K1200 models).. this
will be followed by the BMSK family early next year...

only once this is done, will be shift our efforts to the rest of the ABS
units, ZFE units etc..

All other controllers have ECUinfo, Reading an clearing of Fault codes...

For interest sake, the only ABS units that "theoretically" require a
diagnostic computer to perform a Bleed is the integral ABS on the R1150
and K1200 (non-CAN models), as well as the first ABS onf the R1200
models (servo assisted)...

however even these can be done without a diagnostic connector... as most
dealerships do on a day to day basis...
This procedure is illustrated very nicely on Jim von Baden's R1200
Repair DVD...

best,
Stephan

I look forward to the fuel light calibration feature and three-pin ABS/Motronic capability.

hi Lloyd,

the fuel light calibration is still under investigation... there is a
dedicated pin to do this - not one of the 2 standard diagnostic lines on
the diagnostic connector.... and that means an adapter... and at the
price of those 10pin connectors... I'm not quite sure that it will be
feasible...

as for the 3pin adapter... I have had several versions of the off-tool
samples in my hands... and they're pretty close to done... so is the
software... so this will be added in early 2010, once we are in full
production with the 3-pin adapters... hmm... come to think of it, there
is a question that I would like to pose to the GS-911 forum... regarding
the 3pin adapter... I will do it in a separate thread...

best,
Stephan
