My ’99 K1200LT started running poorly at low RPM, hesitation and
dying. Using GS-911 the TPS measured out of limits. After completing
the procedure for TPS adjustment the bike appears to be running better
but with a high idle speed. On cold start idle is around 2000 RPM and
settles in around 1500 RPM once warmed up. I have executed the TPS
procedure several times with the same results. I removed the idle
actuator and verified using the hand throttle I could lower RPM very
low, so the actuator is consistently holding RPM high. The idle stop
screw doesn’t appear to have been changed by anyone based on my
examination.

Bike’s idle speed before TPS adjustment about 1000 RPM
There are no codes stored indicating any issues
Lambda chart for O2 sensor looks good
TPS position 2.56%
Ignition angle 14.08 varies
Injection time 1.79-1.92
GS-911 version 1006.3
Idle actuator appears to be working throughout the TPS procedure

Anyone experience this situation and have a recommendation. Thanks…
Archie

Ciao,
I think you have to control the timing of the throttle bodies :-)

LTs can raise their idle speed when low battery voltage is sensed.  Check battery condition and alternator output.
