Anyone have a way of looking this up.  "24052 Electrical System Under Voltage".  I am traveling and have had a ABS fault light on dash x2.  It cleared both times when I turned the bike off, but the gs 911 now displays this fault code.
Thanks,
Ross

I’m not an expert but I am online and have had this problem myself.  Does the fault return if cleared?  If not I wouldn’t worry about it.  If it persists, it’s worth running the real time diagnostic in the engine management section and checking the voltage both with engine stopped and started, to check battery and charging voltage.

As I understand it the ABS is very sensitive to slightly low voltages.

I occasionally get the ABS light on but it clears with a restart and is due, I think, to a low battery voltage (the battery is not very good – R1200GS 2006).  I don’t worry about it and it doesn’t seem to be a problem.

Good luck

David

My experience also has been that the ABS light staying on after start up but going out upon restart, usually is the first indication of the battery getting weak, "wore out".
There have been a lot of problem and short lived batteries installed in the GS models.

Cheers,
Russel

What bike? that helps a whole bunch.

In general - that sort of fault means your battery is on it's way out.

96 R1100RT,  96 R1100R,  2000 R1200C, 07 R12ooGSA.  My local dealer, Ontario Canada, also stated that BMW has had some battery problems.

Russel
