Hi everyone,
Seth here from Boston, MA, and I'm running into issues with my BMW R1200C with recurring ABS "railroad lights".
I ran the GS-911 (USB), and I think that the error that came up was #16 - "Stuck Piston". Glad I'm using a GS-911 as it's a lot more descriptive than the LED to ground test.
When I bought the bike 8 years ago, I brought it into a BMW dealer who (If my memory serves me correctly), that they encountered (and reset) the same error. The GS-911 got rid of the error for now, but I expect that it'll quickly come back as the problem isn't solved yet. I'm guessing that it's been due to my not (and the previous owner) not regularly bleeding the brakes. I'll be ordering speed bleeders shortly and will get into the habit of doing so.
However, before I do a full brake bleed and then the tank-off procedure and try to clean the two pistons (

Also, do I have to be in the middle of bleeding the brakes when I do the piston cleaning procedure?
Thanks!
