Hello,
I've received the Gruvin 4.2 MB and now is already working in my T9X.
Flashed fw Open9X ver. 1379 by companion (v-0.98). Perfect!
Installed a SDCard and made a backup of all my models.
What a pleasure not to see the "(!) EEPROM WARNING"... ;-)

Telemetry data are received and clearly visible on the LCD.
I know that is possible to make a log of these data on the SDcard, but I can't find out how to do it....
Who can help me?

Thanks a lot,
-Fritz

Hi,
Did you try to enable Logs in the Function Switches menu? You may associate Logs to the ON switch if you want logs as soon as the model is loaded.
Bertrand.

Hi Bertrand,

thank you for your suggestion!
I never used the Function switches menu before... It's a my big lack!
I found out a new world in this menu...... ;-)
Many, many thank!
Ciao, Fritz

Unfortunately the log doesn't start by switch command...
other functions work, not the log.

Which release? Does the SD Manager work? Model Backup / Restore also? Does it at least create the Logs files or nothing at all?
Bryan would it be possible that you confirm?
I will try the latest release tomorrow, the version 1160 seems ok here.
Bertrand.

I will test this later on this afternoon, all going as planned. (I haven't tested it for a long time .. since before r1250 or so, from memory.)

Bryan.

I tested it this morning with latest svn revision. Everything seemed fine. Fritz, did you configure the delay between logs? I used 0.1s for my tests.
Bertrand.

Hi all,

I flashed the Open9x v.1379 and the SD manager works fine, since I can succesfully back-up/restore my models.
I understand that the sample rate of telemetry data is programmable, nice!
But: how can I configure the "delay between logs"? I can't find it nowhere...

Ciao
Fritz

It's a parameter to the function, so you should see something like "THR .. SD Logs .. 0.1s" on the line!

Ehmm... :-(  I couldn't see it yesterday... but I think it was there, seen that there is now!
It works! Perfect!
THANK YOU!

I see in the xx.csv file a total of 21 data + date and time.
I figure out the meaning of them, but... let me ask some question:
1) - the data "buffer" is the content received in the FrSky module from the Rx? In this case, having a WSHH connected to the port, is the "buffer" the actual altitude?
2) - I think that the conversion factors of analog values are related to the full scale settled in telemetry menu, and the nr. of relevant bit (8?, 10?, 12?),
how exactly?
3) - Only the "DELETE" command is functioning, nor the "RENAME" and "COPY". Are these in the todo list?

Thanks a lot, again!
Fritz

Perfect!

1) No, the column name is perhaps not the best, it only means if we receive something or not. 1 means Ok! You will never see the altitude there of course!

2) It's just the raw value received from your FrSky module on A1 / A2. No conversion / formula there! So 8bits.

3) Indeed, it's in my TODO list, with a simple file viewer for logs ... It's a lot of work, and not the easiest!

Bertrand.

Thank you Bertrand for the immediate response!

Is there the possibility in the future to log the "Altitude" too?

All of you have done so far a really GREAT job!
Keep up this way, boys

It's already done when using the FrSky Hub, do you use the WSHH instead?
Bertrand.
