This Burp Suite plugin allows for two or more Burp Suite users to share web traffic, findings and specific requests in real time. Users can share cookies, active and passive findings, repeater payloads, and generic burp traffic to enable collaboration on application security engagements without ever leaving Burp. The extension and its required server can be found here: -Team-Extension

Along with sharing generic Proxy traffic between all other clients, users can manually share custom built repeater payloads with other room members or generate shareable links for use in blog posts or sending through chat applications.

This cheat sheet enables users of Burp Suite with\nquicker operations and more ease of use.\nBurp Suite is the de-facto penetration testing tool for\nassessing web applications. It enables penetration\ntesters to rapidly test applications via signature\nfeatures like repeater, intruder, sequencer, and\nextender.

Burp Suite was developed by PortSwigger and started in 2003 by creator Dafydd Stuttard, who wrote the first version of Burp, with actual burping sounds. A favorite of bug bounty hunters, Burp is a collection of web application testing tools designed for penetration testing.

The tool is written in Java and developed by PortSwigger Web Security. The tool has three editions: a Community Edition that can be downloaded free of charge, a Professional Edition and an Enterprise Edition that can be purchased after a trial period. The Community edition has significantly reduced functionality. It intends to provide a comprehensive solution for web application security checks. In addition to basic functionality, such as proxy server, scanner and intruder, the tool also contains more advanced options such as a spider, a repeater, a decoder, a comparer, an extender and a sequencer.

Tabs can also be dragged around within repeater to reorder them. This is particularly useful for processes involving multiple requests or for grouping similar requests together. Get your Repeater tabs in order before you try to demonstrate the issue to a client.

I actually am considering trying to build a burp extension that can save this information for me so I can more easily resume after an unexpected interruption. The extension could also have a built-in export function so I could process interactions with scripting later if desired.

Burp Suite, most often only called Burp, is a tool dedicated to auditing web platforms. Its main functionalities are a web proxy and a web vulnerability scanner. This software is developed by PortSwigger. Burp Suite has a free version, which includes the proxy, the repeater and the intruder (in a limited way). We are talking here below of these three modules and the scanner, which is included in the paid version.

The repeater is a module sending HTTP requests to a server. It retrieves the requests intercepted previously by the proxy and enables to modify them manually, before sending them again individually to the server.
This module is in particular used to test logic flaws, as the finer modifications it enables are appreciated analyzing logical processes, such as the payment of a shopping cart.

Burp Suite is a penetration testing tool. The package is delivered through a GUI app that provides a section on system research and another that launches attacks. The interface will copy over data from a research probe directly into an attack tool. A higher plan of Burp suite is fully automated, which makes it a vulnerability scanner. \n","author":"@type":"Person","name":"Stephen Cooper","description":"Stephen Cooper has taken a close interest in online security since his thesis on Internet encryption in the early 90s.
