Hey, the Esperanto club here at U of I has been going really well. I
was wondering if anyone would perhaps be interested in having some
sort of meetup on a weekend or something. I'd be willing to travel
fairly far, as the school will help pay for it if we plan early
enough. But I'd also be totally down with having some students spend a
weekend here with us if they had the volition. Let's plan something
fun, since America totally doesn't get to have very many Youth Eo
meetups. :-)

Here at the University of Florida, our Esperanto club has no money of its own,
and we may have missed the deadline to request money for next year as well. I've
talked with a few of the guys about going to the Landa Kongreso in May, but a
college kongreso would be a cool idea, especially if we got most or all of the
active clubs to participate.

Speaking of which, which ones are there? MIT is the only other active club I
know of, besides Rochester and Stanford, which are unofficial classes. Anyone
else out there? Represent!

(Oh, and perhaps our lovely Esperanto-USA will give us money for travel and the like. I don't doubt it. Maybe like a matching program if not just giving away money. Do think on that!)

Dear Darcy,
Have you asked EUSA for travel funds?  I am no longer on the board, but I  have some influence, and I think it is a reasonable use of money, especially if you are close, or take the bus, or what not so it doesn't end up costing thousands.
