We are scaling up our web services from hundreds of requests per
seconds to tens of thousands and we are looking for at least one more
software engineer/systems developer to make the journey smooth and
efficient.
Big volumes mean big data, which requires statistics and machine
learning to make sense out of it. We use MySQL, Hadoop, Pig, R and
Membase on the backend, Javascript and HTML/CSS on the frontend and
Ruby on Rails in the middle. We don't expect you to know all those
technologies – we didn't when we started – but we expect you to enjoy
learning what you don't already know. So while we appreciate
expertise, we welcome an ambitious junior developer as well.
Our office is located in central Göteborg, and you would join our
