Hello,

I googled a lot but did not find a proper solution.

Is there a way to add some comments/seperators to GRUB's menu (as in http://media.ubuntuusers.de/wiki/attachments/09/28/grub-mit-splash.png) that aren't considered as menu entries.

I.e. the cursor will skip these entries

We need to separate some entries from each other and want to provide information on the effects caused by an option.

I tried to add a 'title -----------' entry that isn't really doing anything but I can't get the cursor to skip such an entry.

Thanks for your help

Bjoern

I believe all grub variants including grub4dos have this problem - I
haven't heard of anybody fixing this issue yet. It might be fixed in
grub v2. You could always download the source
and submit a patch.
