The first question is when users load up a partition to the memory using:
map --mem (hd0,1) (hd0)
the above command seems to patch an MBR at the head of the partition to make
it into a disk image.
Could you tell us the details about this patched MBR, including:
1. what is the length-size of the MBR;
2. is there any boot code embedded;
3. how the partition table is configured (for example how the active flag,
the filesystem signature, etc are determined and set);
etc.
