TRIO FOLIAS LEAVES FOR THEIR TOUR TOMORROW JUNE 1
Trio Folias combines Avik Basu, Andrew Bergeron, and
Carmen Maret, all with expertise in Argentine tango
music performance and Argentine social tango dance
instruction. The Trio Folias tour events will include
live music at milongas, musicality focused dance
lessons and workshops for dancers. In addition to
founding and teaching tango in the Grand Rapids Tango
Community, Carmen Maret and Andrew Bergeron of Folias
flute and guitar duo have performed live social tango
music throughout the United States for the past four
years. They join with Avik Basu who is a key organizer
and teacher in the Ann Arbor tango community which has
developed into one of the most vibrant tango scenes in
the country.

works.
Concert is part of the Mackinac Island Community
