Hello Everyone,
I hope that your summer is going well and those of you that are attending class this semester are all ready to go! As some of you already know, GrrCON is just over a month away and last year's conference is the reason that some of our locksport groups got their start. After some discussion with the conference organizers and Chris Jenks (rattis), I agreed to organize this year's lock pick village at GrrCON 2012. I'm happy to give whatever I can back to our community, however, you guys are the local locksport group and should be involved. So I wanted to see who's going to be attending this year's conference and who would like to volunteer to teach at the village and watch over the equipment. It wouldn't be an all-day thing, just shifts, so you can still enjoy the conference and catch all the talks you want to listen to.

Some exciting news for this year, is that Storm Lock Picks UK (http://www.stormlockpicks.com) is sponsoring the lock pick village and supplying us with beginner pick sets, locks, and some pretty epic prizes for the lock pick wizard competition. They didn't spare any expense to show us their support. I want to keep the prizes under wraps for now though, but anyone at the conference will have a chance to check them out.

Please let me know at your earliest convenience if you'd like to help with the village. I can get some conference volunteers and a few of the east Michigan area locksport guys to help out too, so I can pretty much guarantee you'll be able to catch any talk/workshop you want to make it to. Feel free to email/Twitter/text me with any questions you might have.

Thanks,
Justin (@infosec_rogue)

Thanks Josh! I'm sure spending some time with the locks and picks will only improve your skill!
