Hi:
I'm benchmarking gRPC on a system. It looks that the code path is
much different when #NDEBUG is not defined (release version). It seems
to me that some experiment or new features are enabled when that macro
is not defined. Am I right? If yes, what are the experiment/new features?
Thanks,
-Steven

Can you provide the specific release version you're referring to, and if possible the specific feature(s) you're seeing enabled/disabled?
