Hi everyone, thanks for contributing to grpc.io, specifically to grpc-web, it is a great tool.

I am using grpc-web (https://github.com/grpc/grpc-web) but the error responses are always:

{code: 2, message: 'incomplete response'}

My Envoy proxy is correct, as I can see the Grpc-Message and Grpc-Status Response Headers in the Network tab when I execute the call.

The issue was pointed out previously in the GitHub repository, and it has actually been already solved.

- Issue: No matter what error code the server returns, the TS code always gets {code: 2, message: 'Incomplete response'} #1328. https://github.com/grpc/grpc-web/issues/951

This was changed on April 13th, 2023. But the latest version is 1.4.2 from October 28th, 2022. Almost a year ago...

When could we expect the next version to be released with the bug fixes encountered so far?

Or even better, could someone create a new minor release that covers this bug?

It would be greatly useful. I am able to contribute to the project if we need more hands on it.

Thanks a lot!

My bad, it is actually not fixed, it is just another issue pointing to the original discussion.

Thank so much for the request, Emmanuel! It's a totally reasonable one...

I will cut a release this week!

Thanks a lot for bringing this to our attention again! 😃

(p.s. Regarding the problem you run into, i saw a comment here, and i'm hoping it's resolved now?)

Thanks again!
Eryu
