can I reuse the same StreamObserver in the event of retries?

i've seen this ask several times, i just want to make sure i understand.

in order to make an automatic re connection when a streaming RPC is called, i need to do during onError of the observer, can then create the call again. 

but i can't use the same instance of StreamingObsever i have to create a new one?

I am assuming you are saying the StreamObserver for response (i.e., the client side RPC handler you passed to the RPC calling method). Yes, you can use the same handler.
