enable simple installation for PHP using yum

Hi

We've long since dispensed with using PECL/PEAR for installing PHP extensions, but are now forced to do so enable gRPC.  The installation adds a considerable time to our server builds and clearly comes with far more risk of failure compared to using yum.

Are there any plans to release a version for CentOS 7.x for use with yum?

Unfortunately, we do not have expertise on building redhat packages. This one would be up to the community to take care of.
