If you're asking in the context of Google Summer of Code; all those deadlines are passed, so work done wouldn't be included in that program. If you're just asking because it would be cool to do and useful to have, we'd be delighted to see the code contributed to the project, and we'd be happy to answer questions and review code.

I just want to contribute, has nothing to do with Gsoc :)

Also, Where should I raise a PR? or just create my own repo? I think I will start off with a prototype based on the discussion on another threads.

I'm not the one who decides such things, but since no one else has yet responded: when you have something to share, create a pull request against grpc/grpc, and it will get routed to someone who will say "this doesn't belong here, it belongs over at <proper place>".

Also, if it's convenient to start with, go with your own repo. However feel free to ask the folks on this list for reviews/inputs - we are keen to see this happen.

We are looking into what a proper, welcoming for such projects can be and will have something to share very soon!
