How to test a rpc call sent by python stub to a go grpc server

Hello,

So I have created a class that is using grpc stub to talk to a go server.

That works fine. This class does not have tests yet. For unit tests i would like to mock the channel and response from the go server [gobgp] so it may be tested without the actual grpc server running.

Can you please help me to figure out how this can be done?

Have you looked into https://grpc.github.io/grpc/python/grpc_testing.html or using InProcess transport https://github.com/grpc/grpc/tree/master/src/core/ext/transport/inproc using grpc core?
