For clarity: are you asking about the transfer progress of a single message or a stream of messages? And on the client side, server side, or both?

In what programming language are you working?

Yes, transfer progress of a single message, on the client side. This is in C++.

We don't have any method of doing this at the current time or planned, as our exposed notifications come at the message-level not at the byte-level.
