gRFCs

Hi Everyone,

In an effort to increase visibility and collaboration around larger changes to gRPC, we are rolling out “gRFCs” - RFCs for gRPC. The goal of this process is to encourage public discussion and feedback on the changes going into gRPC, and at the same time, define future changes in a structured manner.

The gRPC RFCs or “gRFCs” shall live in http://github.com/grpc/proposal. Our intention is to use this mailing list (grpc-io) to have discussions around any of these proposals, rather than GitHub.

Please take a look at the proposals process and share your feedback!  We hope that the current process as described will serve as a good starting point. Over the next few weeks, we will be taking a few RFCs through this process and request you to participate in the discussions. As we learn from experience, we expect to tweak the process through further, follow up RFCs.
